With a career in Human Resources spanning over two decades, Leisa brings a wealth of experience and expertise to any organization. Leisa’s HR journey began in 2001, managing HR for a team of approximately 20 builders. This role involved conducting appraisals, facilitating training, and navigating complex issues such as sickness and redundancies, providing her with invaluable insights into the HR field.
Since then, she has worked within HR for organizations serving over 4,000 employees across the UK. Mastering the art of vetting to both SIA and airport security standards, became a Mental Health Champion, and contributed to various CSR projects. Her role as an HR Advisor to a major provider with over 15,000 clients allowed her to support SMEs with unique staffing challenges, broadening her understanding of both corporate and SME environments.
Recently achieving the Associate level CIPD qualification Leisa has enhanced her knowledge in strategic HR planning and delivery, resourcing, organizational performance, evidence-based practice, and change management.
Outside of work, Leisa enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, indulging in coffee and cake, and watching police and forensic dramas on TV.
