Home based, with a need to travel to client appointments and a monthly trip to London for management meetings. Full Time, £30,000 – £40,000 per annum

This is a pivotal role in the business, providing best-in-class service to our clients in terms of benefit and pension expertise. In addition, as a member of a small team, you’ll also be talking to potential new clients when they enquire, to assess their needs and determine how our services can support them.

Being a consultant is the same – but different, to working in a larger organisation. You will have the freedom to advise clients, without product or geographical restrictions; clients come first and we make sure we’re always adding value and supporting them to achieve their business objectives.

What you’ll be doing:

Partnering with Businesses

This role will be focused predominantly on clients that require a combination of reward, benefit and pension advice and support. You will grow and develop relationships with corporate clients to provide expert advice on Group Pensions, Group Risk, Healthcare and Wellbeing, whilst pulling on your knowledge of benefit platforms.
The client’s employees are at the heart of the decisions, so you will be communicating with this group to engage them in the great decisions that have been made.
You’ll be the dedicated point of contact for your clients and will provide a rapid response to enquiries via phone and email, and visiting client sites. In addition, you’ll nurture these client relationships by holding regular check-ins to ensure we’re really adding value to their business and that they are fully supported with all their employee benefit needs.

Supporting our growth

To ensure our ongoing success and presence in the market, all members of the team get involved in answering inbound enquiries from perspective new clients, occasional networking, and sharing content on LinkedIn. These are potentially things you won’t have done before, so full training and support will be provided.

Who we’re looking for:

The number one thing we look for in our people is positivity, so if you’re not a ‘glass half full’ kind of person, I’m afraid you’re not what we’re looking for.

You’ll hold a QCF Level 4 qualification and have solid experience in benefits and pension advisory, experience working as a benefits consultant where you can demonstrate interpreting client needs with recommended benefits and pension packages.

You need to have lots of initiative, be communicative, ability to lone work whilst maintaining excellent rapport with the team and clients, within a regulated environment and finally good at the detail and above all, be happy to get stuck in!
